Montgomery County Association for the Blind's mission is to enhance the quality of life and independence of people coping with blindness and vision impairment through rehabilitation, education, support and advocacy.

Our Vision - to be recognized as the region's key resource and major provider of service to people with vision loss.

Founded in 1945, MCAB is supported by contributions from donors, private foundations and corporate grants, special events, bequests, and other gifts. MCAB is not part of county government.

Specialized Services are now available to northern Chester County residents.

A consumer is escorted from MCAB's transportation and helped into the building. "A phone call to them became an open door to a positive attitude, helpful, knowledgeable people, and the support I needed to learn the skills I felt I had lost forever. From my first visit, someone helped me understand how to make my life easier in my own home. Beginning with the weekly computer lessons, my life is changing daily." CLAIRE G.
