Montgomery County Association for the Blind (MCAB) is asking for your special sponsorship support for its 10th Annual Golf Invitational at Sunnybrook Golf Club in Plymouth Meeting on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. As a sponsor, your support allows us to provide crucial services for people who are blind or visually impaired. You will also benefit from increased visibility and expanded maketing opportunities, reaching a wide network of business and individual contacts in the Greater Delaware Valley.
MCAB, a private non-profit organization, has been providing comprehensive vision rehabilitation services in our community for 65 years! Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and independence of people coping with blindness or vision loss through rehabilitation, education, support and advocacy. The number of people requesting services continues to increase with the aging of the Baby Boomers. Most vision loss is age or medically related.
MCAB is a Regional provider. Comprehensive services include: Social Service - case management, Orientation and Mobility Training (safe & independent travel), Vision Rehabilitation Therapy (skills of daily living), Computer Training, Recreation and Support Groups, Pre-school Vision Screening, and Transportation. Services are tailored to each individual's needs. Your sponsorship will make a real difference in successfully rehabilitating people facing the challenge of vision loss!

SILENT AUCTION SPONSORSHIP
The Montgomery County Association for the Blind (MCAB) will host its 10th Annual Golf Invitational, Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Sunnybrook Golf Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. A Live and Silent Auction items, individual and team prizes will play an integral part in the day's activities, all designed to support community services benefitting people with vision loss. Any business making an in-kind donation for either the auction or prizes will receive special recognition at the awards. MCAB is asking you to donate an item or service for the auction. With your participation, MCAB will be able to raise needed funds for valuable programs.
You will be listed on the MCAB website. In addition to supporting MCAB community services, your donation will provide your business with exposure to some of the area's top business contacts.
MCAB's mission is to enhance the quality of life and independence of people coping with blindness or vision impairments through rehabilitation, education, support, and advocacy. Founded in 1945, MCAB, a private non-profit organization, provides Regional comprehensive services to 2,400 people of all ages. MCAB's Consumers mirror the diversity of the region including people from all racial, ethnic and socio-economic groups, children, adults and seniors. Vision loss knows no boundaries; it can affect anyone at any time, any age and sometimes without warning.
MCAB provides services in Montgomery and Chester Counties. Services include: Computer Access & Braille Training, Vision Rehabilitation Therapy (independent living skills), Orientation and Mobility Training (learning to travel safely and independently), Social Services, Support and Recreation Groups, Vision Screening and Transportation (to medical visits). Services are tailored to the individual's needs.
