Back Ground Check

Instructions on obtaining a Criminal History Background Check:

We require a current Background Check.  If you have had one within the last twelve months we would simply need a copy of it. If not, you can do this online or by mail.  I have outlined below how to do this each way.

If you choose to do this online enter www.psp.state.pa.us, and click on "How To" on the left side of the screen, then click  on "Obtain Criminal History Record", Click on "PA Access to Criminal History (Patch) Web Site", then click on "Record Check" at the top, then click on "New Record Check" and click "accept" for the terms and Conditions.  Then follow the directions.  You pay the $10.00 fee, and print out your background check immediately, and then mail a copy along with the other forms.

You can also do this by mail using this form provided - click here.  Send the completed form, along with a $10.00 money order to the address on the form.  It will take a number of weeks to get a response. 

With the current worries about identity theft, it is important to safeguard your personal information, so please be sure to black out your social security number before you mail us a copy of the completed background check.
